DEVEN partnered with the Southeast Alabama Medical Center, Houston County, the City of Dothan and the State of Alabama to develop the new College of Osteopathic Medicine to serve Alabama and the southeast United States. ACOM is Alabama’s first college of osteopathic medicine and the third medical college in the State. The 110,500 square foot building encompasses the entire gamut of educational facilities required for a student to graduate as a state certified physician. The College can generate 150 new osteopathic physicians annually.
